Quick answer
Auto dialer software dials a contact list for your agents and connects the answered calls. DialerBee runs four modes, switchable per campaign: preview, power, progressive and predictive. Around them sit DNC scrubbing on import, callbacks, caller-ID pools with local presence, answering machine detection, pre-dial compliance checks and a browser agent desktop. Starter is $69 per agent per month with preview and power; Professional is $129 with all four modes. Carrier minutes are billed by your carrier.
Dialing modes
What are the four auto dialer modes?
Every mode answers one question differently: when does the next number get dialled, relative to when an agent is free? That decides idle time, and whether a person can ever answer to silence.
| Mode | How it dials on DialerBee | Typical team | Plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Preview | The agent sees the contact record first and clicks to dial when ready. One call at a time, paced by the agent. | Small B2B sales teams, account managers, high-value or complex calls | Starter and Professional |
| Power | On DialerBee, the next contact is dialled automatically the moment the agent finishes wrap-up. One call per agent, with a configurable wrap-up timer; agents can pause, skip or reschedule. | Small and mid-size teams that want steady throughput without dialling ahead | Starter and Professional |
| Progressive | One call per available agent, released as agents become free and ordered by priority score, time zone and retry schedule. Never dials ahead of an agent. | Regulated or reputation-sensitive lists, collections, insurance, renewals | Professional |
| Predictive | Dials several numbers ahead of agent availability. DialerBee recalculates lines per agent every 30 seconds inside supervisor bounds, with an abandon-rate ceiling per campaign. | High-volume teams of 20 or more agents on large lists | Professional |
A naming trap to know before you compare vendors. "Power dialer" does not mean the same thing everywhere. On DialerBee, power dialing holds one call per agent and dials the instant wrap-up ends. Other products use the same name for two or three lines per agent, which can abandon calls. Ask every vendor how many lines per agent their power mode places.
The deeper mode-versus-mode arguments are on auto dialer vs predictive dialer and power vs predictive. How the pacing model works is on the predictive dialer page.
Choosing
Which dialer mode is right for my team?
Start from the team and the list, not from the fastest mode. Most floors end up running more than one.
| Your team and list | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 3–8 sales reps calling named B2B accounts | Preview | Each call needs preparation; volume is not the constraint. |
| 5–20 agents on inbound leads or callbacks | Power | Removes manual dialling without the risk of a caller answering to silence. |
| Collections or insurance team on a regulated list | Progressive (or power) | One call per free agent, ordered by priority and time zone, so nobody is dialled before an agent is ready. |
| 20+ agents on a large, low-answer-rate list | Predictive | Enough agents for the pacing model to average across; set the abandon-rate ceiling first. |
| Mixed floor: a sales pod and a collections pod | Different mode per campaign | On DialerBee the mode is a per-campaign setting, so each pod keeps its own. |
| Scripted reminders and confirmations at volume | AI voice agent campaign, with people on callbacks | Repetitive calls suit an AI campaign; agents take the conversations that need a person. |
Why 20 agents for predictive? A pacing model predicts when agents will come free. With a handful of agents, one long call throws the prediction off, and the result is either idle agents or abandoned calls. Below about 20 agents, power or progressive usually does the job with less to watch. You can estimate the risk for your own numbers with the abandon-rate estimator.
Switching later costs nothing extra. On DialerBee the mode is a per-campaign setting inside the same per-agent price. Predictive needs no separate licence, only the Professional plan and someone to set its bounds.
Beyond the dialing
What should dialer software do besides dial?
The dialling mode gets the attention in a demo. Most of the daily friction is in everything around it: the list, the number you show, the voicemails, the rules and the screen the agent works in.
List management and DNC scrub
Import CSV or Excel with a preview of the column mapping before anything is written, custom fields carried through, and do-not-call scrubbing on import so suppressed numbers never enter the list. Set maximum attempts and a retry delay per list.
Lead management →Callbacks
Agents schedule a callback from the disposition, at the time the customer asked for. Pending callbacks are listed per agent, and callers can also request one through the IVR.
Agent desktop →Caller ID and local presence
Named caller-ID pools with four selection modes (local presence, round-robin, sequential and random), mapped per campaign, with verified CLI ownership. Spam labels are decided by carriers and reputation providers, not by any dialer.
Caller-ID pool control →Answering machine detection
Starter has basic beep-detection AMD. Professional adds AI AMD, which transcribes the first seconds of audio and classifies person or machine in 11 languages, so it works where a voicemail plays no beep. Voicemail drop is enabled per campaign.
AI AMD →Pre-dial compliance checks
Each dial is checked against the DNC list, consent records (with revoke), calling hours per jurisdiction and time zone, frequency limits, caller-ID ownership and phone format. Jurisdiction packs cover UAE TDRA, KSA CST, Jordan TRC and Bahrain TRA.
Compliance engine →Browser agent desktop
A WebRTC softphone in Chrome, Edge or Firefox with nothing to install: dial pad, DTMF, mute, hold, transfer and conference, the script and customer record on the same screen, and disposition cards with hotkeys.
Agent desktop →CRM integration
A CRM iframe on every plan. Connectors for HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Pipedrive, Zendesk and Microsoft Dynamics (your own CRM app credentials), Odoo and Freshworks (your own API key), plus a CRM webhook and the REST API.
Integrations →Reporting and supervision
Standard reports on Starter; all 15 reports plus the Insights centre (Call Outcomes, Service Level, Dispositions, AMD) on Professional. Wallboard, CSV, Excel and branded PDF export. Supervisors listen on Starter and listen, whisper and barge on Professional.
Reports and insights →Rules at the dial
How does an auto dialer stay within calling rules?
A rule checked when a list is uploaded is a rule about a spreadsheet. DialerBee runs its checks per call: the DNC list as it is now, the consent record, the calling-hours window for the number's jurisdiction and time zone, the frequency limit, the caller ID's ownership and the phone format. A number added to your DNC list after the upload is still caught, because the check happens at the dial.
If a configured check fails, the call is not placed and the reason is logged. Predictive campaigns add an abandon-rate ceiling, and supervisors set minimum and maximum lines per agent. Jurisdiction packs ship for UAE TDRA, KSA CST, Jordan TRC and Bahrain TRA; US calling hours follow the number's time zone.
These are compliance-supporting controls. They make your policy enforceable on every dial, but the policy itself is yours: DialerBee does not provide legal advice. Country guides are on the regions pages, and the DNC and consent readiness checklist is a good place to start.
Carriers
Cloud dialer with your own carrier, or bundled telecom?
Many dialers bundle the phone minutes into the price. That is simple, but you pay their rate per minute, and changing carrier means changing dialer. DialerBee connects three ways, chosen per customer.
Bring your own SIP trunk
Connect a trunk from a carrier you already use. Your carrier bills the minutes directly, and DialerBee charges no per-minute platform fee. This is how the self-serve trial works.
Keep your PBX
Asterisk, 3CX, Cisco CUCM, Avaya or another standards-based PBX or SBC stays in place. DialerBee adds campaigns, pacing, compliance checks, the agent desktop and reporting; the voice never leaves your infrastructure.
Numbers from DialerBee
If you would rather not deal with a carrier, DialerBee can supply the SIP trunks and numbers. That is arranged through sales rather than self-serve sign-up.
Compliance checks, recording, the agent desktop, supervisor tools and reporting are the same on all three. More on BYOC and on BYOC vs bundled telecom.
Pricing
How much does auto dialer software cost?
DialerBee is priced per agent seat, and one seat covers inbound queues and outbound campaigns. There is no per-minute platform fee. The dialer rows from the pricing page:

Worked example: a month for 10 and 30 agents
Seats at published prices. The carrier lines assume 3 hours of connected talk per agent per day over 22 working days, at two illustrative carrier rates; your carrier's rate card replaces them. Taxes excluded.
10 agents on Starter
A sales or appointment-setting team using preview and power dialing.
| 10 seats × $69 | $690 |
| Same seats on annual billing (20% off) | $552 |
| Connected talk: 10 agents × 3 h × 22 days | 39,600 min |
| Carrier at an illustrative $0.01 / $0.02 per min | $396 / $792 |
$1,086 – $1,482 a month on monthly billing
10 agents on Professional
The same team, but needing progressive or predictive, AI AMD and full supervision.
| 10 seats × $129 | $1,290 |
| Same seats on annual billing (20% off) | $1,032 |
| Connected talk: 10 agents × 3 h × 22 days | 39,600 min |
| Carrier at an illustrative $0.01 / $0.02 per min | $396 / $792 |
$1,686 – $2,082 a month on monthly billing
30 agents on Professional
A collections or BPO floor. Starter stops at 20 agents, so 30 seats means Professional.
| 30 seats × $129 | $3,870 |
| Same seats on annual billing (20% off) | $3,096 |
| Connected talk: 30 agents × 3 h × 22 days | 118,800 min |
| Carrier at an illustrative $0.01 / $0.02 per min | $1,188 / $2,376 |
$5,058 – $6,246 a month on monthly billing
Reading the example. Seats are the fixed part: $690, $1,290 or $3,870 a month on monthly billing. The carrier line moves with your talk time and your carrier's rate, which is why it is billed by your carrier rather than marked up. Ask your carrier whether short or unanswered calls are billed, because dialers place many of them.
Adding AI calls. On Professional, the AI voice agent can run outbound campaigns such as reminders at $0.60 per started connected minute on managed AI. 2,000 two-minute reminder calls would add 4,000 minutes × $0.60 = $2,400. With your own model keys, a flat monthly fee replaces the per-minute rate.
AI on the same platform
Where does an AI voice agent fit in an outbound dialer?
Scripted, repetitive calls such as reminders and confirmations can go to Layla, DialerBee's AI voice agent, which runs outbound AI campaigns against a contact list, hands off to a human agent and follows up by SMS or WhatsApp. Your agents keep the conversations that need a person. The same agent can answer your front-desk line as an AI receptionist. The full picture is on the AI dialer page.

Evaluating
How do I evaluate dialer software in a demo?
A scripted demo always works. Bring your own list, your own numbers and your own languages, and ask the vendor to do these eight things live. Hold us to the same list.
- 1
Run all four modes on one campaign
Ask the vendor to switch a live campaign between modes and show what changes. Ask what they mean by "power": some vendors mean one line per agent, others two or three.
- 2
Load your own messy list
Bring a real export with bad formats and a few numbers on your DNC list. Watch the mapping preview, the scrub, and what happens to the rejected rows.
- 3
Block a call on purpose
Try to dial a DNC number and a number outside calling hours. The call should be stopped, and the block reason should appear in a log you can export.
- 4
Hear AMD in your language
Call a few real voicemail boxes in the languages you dial, including one with no beep. Note what reaches the agent.
- 5
Set the predictive guardrails
Have the supervisor set minimum and maximum lines per agent and an abandon-rate ceiling, then show where that ceiling is reported.
- 6
Work a shift as an agent
Log in from a normal laptop browser, take a call, transfer it, set a disposition by hotkey and book a callback. Count the clicks.
- 7
Push to your CRM
Check that the disposition and notes land on the right CRM record, and test the webhook before a real lead depends on it.
- 8
Price your real month
Seats × plan, plus carrier minutes from your carrier's rate card, plus any AI minutes. Ask what is billed per minute by the platform itself.

Is DialerBee the right call center dialer for us?
It is a good fit if you run outbound campaigns alongside inbound queues, dial in more than one language (AI AMD and transcription cover 11), want to keep your own carrier or PBX, or run regulated lists such as collections where per-call checks and logs matter. Telemarketing teams that need the rules-first view should see telemarketing software.
It may be more than you need if you are one or two reps who only need click-to-call inside a CRM. A CRM's built-in calling can be enough at that size; Starter makes sense once you want a shared list, dispositions, callbacks and a supervisor view.
Plan for some setup if you want DialerBee to supply your numbers, or have complex SIP, compliance or multi-tenant needs. Simple teams can start calling soon after sign-up; those setups may need guided onboarding.
