Arabic AI voice agent
Arabic AI Voice Agent for Real Contact Center Workflows
Arabic text-to-speech is the easy part. The hard part is an Arabic-speaking agent that answers your numbers, books against your real calendar, quotes only your real prices, hands the caller to a person when it should, and leaves a record your supervisors can check. That is what this is.
Quick answer
What is DialerBee's Arabic AI voice agent? It is an AI voice agent that speaks Gulf, Levantine and Egyptian Arabic, plus ten more languages, inside a working contact center. It answers inbound calls routed from a DID and runs outbound AI campaigns, with Layla, the female voice. It answers from your own knowledge base, speaks only prices from your service catalogue, and books, reschedules or cancels appointments after a free-busy check. It hands off to a human agent, follows up by SMS or WhatsApp, and leaves a recording, a transcript and an outcome pushed to your CRM. Every candidate utterance passes guardrails before speech, and you configure it in Agent Studio with versions, rollback, A/B experiments and kill switches. It is a usage-billed add-on on the Professional and Enterprise plans.
Arabic voice, nothing behind it
- A pleasant Arabic voice reading whatever the model produces.
- Prices and opening hours that sound right but come from nowhere.
- “Your appointment is booked” with no calendar behind it.
- No way to reach a person, and no record of what was said.
An Arabic agent inside a contact center
- Answers from your documents and quotes only your catalogue prices.
- Books only after a free-busy check, and confirms only after the booking succeeds.
- Hands off to a human agent on the same platform.
- Leaves a recording, a transcript and an outcome in your CRM.
On a call
What the agent actually does
The same agent works both directions: it picks up when a customer calls your number, and it dials out when you run it as a campaign. The full feature set is on the AI voice agent page; here is what matters on an Arabic call.
Answers inbound calls from a DID
Route a number in your DID inventory to the AI voice agent, exactly as you would route it to a queue, an IVR flow or a person. The caller dials your number and the agent picks up.
Places outbound AI campaigns
Point the agent at a contact list and run it as an outbound campaign, using the same list and pacing machinery your human campaigns use. It can also place AI callbacks, so a promise made on an earlier call is kept.
Answers from your knowledge base
Upload your own documents and the agent retrieves from them by semantic search, so opening hours, policies and service descriptions come from you rather than from a plausible guess.
Quotes only your catalogue prices
The price-truth guard means only prices in your service catalogue can be spoken. If a price is not in the catalogue, the agent does not invent one.
Books after a free-busy check
It checks free-busy on the connected calendar, then books, reschedules or cancels the appointment on the call. The confirmation is spoken only after the booking action returns a confirming status.
Takes an interruption
Barge-in: when the caller cuts in, the agent stops talking and listens, instead of finishing its sentence over the top of them.
Hands off to a human agent
When the conversation needs a person, the call goes to a human agent on your contact center rather than ending in a dead loop.
Follows up by SMS or WhatsApp
The confirmation or follow-up goes out after the call on SMS or WhatsApp, with a gender-matched voice, so the message reads as the same agent the caller just spoke to.

Caller
أريد حجز موعد يوم الخميس بعد الظهر.
I would like to book an appointment on Thursday afternoon.
Agent, before checking the calendar
لحظة من فضلك، سأتحقق من المواعيد المتاحة يوم الخميس.
One moment please, I will check the available times on Thursday.
Agent, only after the booking returns a confirming status
تمّ تأكيد موعدك يوم الخميس الساعة الرابعة عصرًا، وستصلك رسالة تأكيد.
Your appointment is confirmed for Thursday at four in the afternoon, and you will receive a confirmation message.
The middle line matters as much as the last one. The agent does not say “booked” because the conversation suggests it should; effectful actions must return a confirming status before they are spoken.
Dialects and language
Arabic as dialects, not one flattened language
A caller in Riyadh, a caller in Amman and a caller in Cairo do not speak the same Arabic, and an agent that treats them as one language sounds like a translation to all three. The DialerBee voice agent handles Gulf, Levantine and Egyptian Arabic as dialects, and works in ten more languages, eleven in total, so a mixed Arabic and English caller base can run on one platform.
One voice carries it: Layla, the female voice. You set the voice, name, tone and pace on the agent's persona in Agent Studio, so a collections line and a clinic's booking line do not have to sound the same.
If your callers speak a dialect not listed here, ask us about it in a demo rather than assuming it is covered. This page is about the voice agent; the Arabic interface for your human agents and supervisors is covered on Arabic & RTL.
Workflows
Six jobs the platform is built to support
These are workflows the agent's capabilities support, described so you can map them to your own operation. They are not measured results; how each one performs depends on your scripts, your lists and your callers.
Appointment booking
A caller asks for a slot. The agent checks free-busy on the connected calendar, offers what is actually open, books it, and sends the confirmation by SMS or WhatsApp. Reschedules and cancellations follow the same path.
Reminders and callbacks
Run the agent as an outbound campaign against the people who are due a reminder or were promised a call back. AI callbacks let the agent keep that promise without taking a seat from your human team.
Collections follow-up
An outbound AI campaign against a follow-up list, answering from the policies in your knowledge base and handing the call to a human agent when the customer wants to discuss an arrangement. The same platform carries your consent, DNC and calling-hours controls.
Lead qualification
Call new enquiries while the interest is fresh, ask the questions your persona and flow profile define, and leave a result with the outcome in your CRM so a salesperson knows which leads to call first.
FAQ answering
Inbound callers with routine questions about hours, locations, services or prices get answers from your documents and your catalogue, not from the open internet.
Transfer to a human
Not every call should stay with the AI. Complaints, complex cases and anything outside the agent's role hand off to a person in your contact center.

Handoff
What it hands to your people
An AI agent that cannot pass work to humans just moves the problem. This one hands over in three ways.
The live call
When the conversation needs a person, the agent hands off to a human agent in your contact center, so a complaint or a complex case reaches someone who can deal with it.
The record
Every AI call produces a result: the recording, the transcript and the outcome, pushed into the CRM, so the AI call sits in the same customer history as the human ones.
The missed call
When nobody answers, the caller hears your announcement, and the one that ships with the platform is written in Arabic first. A manager gets an SMS naming who called. Missed-call recovery.
The platform around it
A contact center, not a standalone bot
The agent runs on the same platform as your queues, your human agents and your outbound campaigns. That is what lets it hand off, report and stop cleanly.
Queues and DID routing
ACD queues with priorities, SLA targets, position announcements and music on hold. Each number in your DID inventory routes to a queue, a user, an IVR flow, a campaign or an AI voice agent.
Supervisors
A live agent grid, listen, whisper and barge on human calls, a supervisor request queue and a wallboard for the floor.
Reports
Fifteen report types with CSV, Excel and PDF export, and AI call results with recording, transcript and export alongside AI usage.
Compliance-supporting controls
DNC checks at the dial, jurisdiction calling hours, consent records and caller-ID ownership, with jurisdiction packs for UAE TDRA, KSA CST, Jordan TRC and Bahrain TRA.
WhatsApp and SMS
Templates, interactive buttons and lists, delivery webhooks, per-tenant sender IDs, and SMS segmentation that counts Arabic characters correctly.
Bring your own carrier
Connect the SIP trunks you already use, including regional carriers, so the AI agent's calls run over your routes and your carrier relationship stays yours.
Governed before the first call, stoppable during it
In Agent Studio you place test calls, publish the agent as a version you can promote or roll back, and run A/B experiments between versions. Capacity and governance limits, number exceptions and a reminder policy are set up front, and per-tenant kill switches stop one agent, one campaign or all AI calling from your own console.

Buyer's checklist
How to evaluate any Arabic voice agent
Use these ten tests on every vendor you shortlist, us included. Most of them can only be answered on a live call with your own scripts, not from a brochure or a demo video.
- 1
Dialect coverage, named
Ask which Arabic dialects the agent itself handles, by name, and which only a different component (such as answering-machine detection) covers. “Supports Arabic” is not an answer. For DialerBee's voice agent the answer is Gulf, Levantine and Egyptian Arabic.
- 2
Barge-in on a real line
Interrupt the agent mid-sentence on a live call, over a mobile connection. Does it stop and listen, or talk over you? A recorded clip cannot show you this; a live call can.
- 3
Digits, dates and currency
Read out a phone number, a date and an amount. Arabic callers mix Eastern and Western digits, Hijri and Gregorian references, and local currency names. Listen to how each is spoken back to you.
- 4
Code-switching
Many callers in the Gulf and the Levant switch between Arabic and English inside one sentence. Test it with your own scripts and judge the result yourself rather than accepting a vendor's description.
- 5
Handoff to a person
Ask what happens when the caller says “I want to talk to someone”. Where does the call go, to which queue, and what does the human see?
- 6
Price truth
Ask the agent for a price that is not on your list. A safe agent declines or hands off. An unsafe one makes up a number your team then has to honour.
- 7
Actions confirmed before they are spoken
If the agent says “your appointment is booked”, was it? Ask whether confirmations are spoken only after the booking system returns a confirming status.
- 8
Audit trail after the call
Every AI call should leave a recording, a transcript and an outcome you can open, ideally in your CRM. If you cannot review it afterwards, you cannot manage it.
- 9
Stopping it
Who can stop the agent, and at what scope? One agent, one campaign, all AI calling? Is it a control in your console or a support ticket?
- 10
Data residency questions
Ask where call audio, transcripts and recordings are stored and processed, which model providers are involved, and whether you can use your own model keys. Get the answers in writing for your own regulator and your DPO.
A useful test phrase for the digits check: ask the agent to repeat back موعدي يوم ١٥ مارس الساعة ٣:٣٠ (“my appointment is on 15 March at 3:30”), written with Eastern Arabic numerals, and listen to how it reads the date and the time.
Hear it
Judge it on a live call, not a clip
We do not publish audio samples. A polished recording can show a voice, but it cannot show barge-in, dialect handling, how a price question is refused or how a booking is confirmed. Book a demo and we will run the agent on a demo tenant, in the dialect your callers speak, with the questions you bring.
